Taking a Tech Timeout in Midtown ATL
We kicked off the event with doing intention-setting. Everyone picked an intention word to reflect on as they listened to the sound bath. Some of the words we picked included, "Evaluate," "Express," and "Communicate."
Once we all picked our words, we put on our headphones to listen to the meditation led by MQC's own Tianna Christine.
After listening, we had meaningful conversations on so many things from other ways to calm the mind, our mental health challenges, improving diet to help with mental health, how to network when you're introverted, and of course tech experience/aspirations. One attendee shared how she created an an app for on-campus safety for a hackathon.
We thank everyone who attended this event, and we look forward to being back in the "A" for another meetup!
